Every year, the Board of Trustees has at least one (1) position up for election. Elections for trustees and levies are held on the 1st Tuesday, following the 1st Monday of May. The individual interested in running for the Fairview Board of Trustees must fill out the Declaration of Intent & Oath of Candidacy for Trustee Candidates with the District Clerk of the Board.

Any interested party MUST be a registered voter and live in the school district to file for a Trustee position.

Trustee candidates file for election starting December 12, 2024, through March 27, 2025, and there are two (2) 3-year term positions available at the Annual Regular School District Election to be held the 6th day of May 2025.

If it is later determined that any portion of the election is not required, the Board of Trustees, authorizes, Julie Asbeck, Election Administrator, to cancel the portion of the election in accordance with 13-1-304 and 20-3-313, MCA.
